Fire Safety Training Level 2 – There are many legal requirements that must be met by employers that employee a team of staff or invite the public to their premises. This includes the need for trained fire Wardens / Marshals and that there are known procedures in place for emergency evacuations of your premises.
Fire Safety Training Level 2 - delivered in your workplace in Liverpool, Manchester and across North Wales.
At Training Course Solutions, we administer fire marshal training and general fire awareness training carried out by a qualified trainer and designed around your business needs.
The QA Level 2 Award in Fire Safety (RQF) is regulated by Ofqual and is a nationally recognised qualification that has been specifically designed for anyone who has a specific responsibility for fire safety in the workplace, such as designated Fire Wardens/Fire Marshals.

Fire Safety Training Level 2 Award - Cost:
This course can be delivered directly in your workplace for a group booking of 6 - 10 delegates for only £560.00 +Vat.

Fire Safety Training Level 2 Award - Course aims:
This course is designed for people who who are responsible for fire safety in the workplace, such as Fire Wardens and Fire Marshals. During this 1 day course, Learners will develop their knowledge and skills in fire safety, including: how fires are caused, the risks associated with fire, principles of fire safety management at work, understanding the role of a fire warden and more.

Fire Safety Level 2 Award - Course Content:
There will be group discussion and theoretical work delivered during the course and course content includes:

  • Causes of fires in the workplace
  • The fire triangle
  • Hazards during and after a fire
  • Fire and smoke spread
  • Fire prevention
  • Fire detection and raising the alarm
  • Means of escape
  • Principles of extinguishing fires
  • Fire fighting equipment and systems
  • Fire safety laws
  • Duties and responsibilities of employers and employees
  • Undertaking a fire safety inspection
  • Fire safety risk assessments
  • Contents of a fire safety briefing
  • Roles and responsibilities of the nominated Fire Warden:
  • On a day to day basis
  • During an emergency

Assessment and Certification: Assessment for this Fire Safety training course will be carried out by the instructor throughout the course. Delegates will need to complete a theory assessment (Multiple Choice Question Paper). On completion of the training successful trainees will receive an accredited (QA) Fire Safety Level 2 Qualification, valid for 3 Years.
